We are proud to share that Prof. Milan Banić (NIS) delivered a keynote talk at the 4th International Conference on Cognitive Mobility (CogMob2025), held at the Bosch Budapest Innovation Campus in Budapest, Hungary.

Taking place in October 2–3, 2025, the conference brought together experts from research, industry, and end-user communities to explore the future of cognitive and intelligent mobility. Within this setting, the keynote—delivered as part of the IIMEO initiative—highlighted the growing role of Earth Observation (EO) technologies in advancing railway infrastructure monitoring.

The keynote offered a strategic outlook on how Earth Observation (EO) technologies are moving beyond research and into real-world deployment, particularly in the context of railway infrastructure and intelligent transport systems.

By addressing both innovation and application, the keynote highlighted the importance of aligning scientific progress with industry demands and societal impact.
